School Development Plan 2025-26

We are continually aiming to achieve the best outcomes for the pupils in our school. Our School Development Plan (SDP) outlines the key areas for the following year to raise standards across the school. Our 2025-26 SDP objectives are: 

PRIORITY 1:   Quality of Education 

1. To raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils in reading, writing and maths so more children reach ARE.
2. To ensure all pupils who did not make good progress last year make better than good progress this year
3.  To close the gap between all pupils and disadvantaged pupils

PRIORITY 2: Behaviour and Attitudes

1. To improve the attendance of disadvantaged pupils
2. To reduce the risk of persistent absence.

PRIORITY 3: Leadership and Management

1. To develop teachers' and teaching assistants’ pedagogy so that all pupils are engaged successfully in learning and are making good progress.
2. To ensure Teaching assistants are directed to have maximum impact.

Our 2024-25 SDP objectives were: 

PRIORITY 1:   Quality of Education 

1. To continue to raise the number of pupils attaining GDS writing.
2. To raise attainment in writing for the disadvantaged pupils
3. To close the gap between boys and girls in writing
4. To ensure high standards in writing across all foundation subjects
5. To implement all foundation subjects to same depth so that pupils learn and remember more

PRIORITY 2: Behaviour and Attitudes

1. Reduce the number of persistent absentees and those at risk of persistent absence e.g. SEN
2. Reduce the number of holidays taken in term time

PRIORITY 4: Leadership and Management

1. To develop the Christian distinctiveness of our school
