Dear Parents and Carers,
I am delighted to welcome you to Bedale Church of England Primary School, situated in the heart of our community. We are a large, friendly school and embrace our motto ’Learning and Caring Together’.
All staff are committed to our pupils receiving the highest quality teaching and the best care, guidance and support so that they will reach their full potential. We aim to provide rich and exciting opportunities which enable our pupils to flourish into confident, rounded individuals.
We are passionate about sport, frequently entering pupils into local competitions. In addition we offer a wide range of sporting activities and we have worked hard as a school to gain the Sainsbury’s Gold Award. Our children also have access to a wide range of after school clubs aimed at broadening their experiences. There are numerous opportunities for pupils to be involved in both physical and creative activities. Here at Bedale we love music and drama, producing high quality productions throughout the year.
The standards we set are high and I am delighted to say that our school was judged by OFSTED in November 2018 to be good overall and outstanding in personal development, behaviour and welfare, and also our Early Years provision was judged outstanding.
We are very proud of our school and believe we have something special to offer. Come and see us and take the opportunity to find out more and if your child is just beginning their time here we look forward to a happy and successful partnership.
Mrs Elizabeth Turnbull
